Beach volleyball player Chloe Swanson is headed to St. Mary's
July 27, 2023Irvine Valley freshman volleyball player Chloe Swanson is headed to NCAA Division I St. Mary's to play on the Gaels beach team. Swanson was an all-conference player in both indoor and beach for the Lasers this past year.

Women's volleyball picked as USMC-AVCA Team Academic winner
July 20, 2023Irvine Valley women's indoor volleyball team earned an USMC-AVCA Team Academic winner for the fall 2022 season. The Lasers won on the court with an OEC title, but also sported a 3.460 grade point average as a team.

Former IVC star Hannah Matt named beach coach at Westcliff
July 02, 2023Hannah Matt, a state champion in both indoor and beach at Irvine Valley, is the new beach coach at Westcliff University. She is also back as a top assistant coach for the indoor women's volleyball team for the Lasers this fall.

Ryan Windisch selected to the AVCA Thirty under 30 list
June 29, 2023Former Irvine Valley player, top assistant and then head coach for women's and men's indoor volleyball and women's beach has been named a Thirty under 30 winner with the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

Anna Unke is named new women's indoor volleyball coach
June 20, 2023Former Irvine Valley indoor and beach star Anna Unke has been selected as the head coach of the Laser women's indoor team. Unke, who has been coaching at JSerra High, helped lead IVC to the state tourney in 2018 and 2019.

June 17, 2023Irvine Valley beach volleyball and indoor standout Emily Hon signs with NAIA National Champion Vanguard. She played indoor and beach for the Lasers and helped each squad capture an Orange Empire Conference title.

May 21, 2023Irvine Valley women's indoor and beach volleyball star Kendall Fraser and men's tennis standout Devon Kashishian have been selected as the athletic department's Character Champion Award Winners for 2022-23.

Star women's volleyball player Jayli Nealy signs with CSUF
May 04, 2023Nealy, a sophomore opposite, was a two-year star for the Lasers. She helped IVC to an Orange Empire Conference title last fall, was named all-state for the second year in a row and her 618 career kills rank third in IVC history.

Women's indoor/beach coach Ryan Windisch lands job at U of A
April 06, 2023Irvine Valley is proud of former player and coach Ryan Windisch moving on to a Division I position at the University of Arizona. Windisch has coached IVC men's and women's indoor teams to conference titles and state appearances.

November 22, 2022Irvine Valley, the second seed in the So. Cal. Regional Playoffs, hosts No. 15 Bakersfield on Tuesday night. The Lasers won the Orange Empire Conference, have a record of 19-4 overall, and swept nine of its last 10 opponents.

November 17, 2022Orange Empire Conference champion Irvine Valley (19-4 overall) will open the CCCAA So. Cal. Regional Playoffs next Tuesday at home at 6 p.m. The Lasers, named the No. 2 seed in the South, will play either Bakersfield or El Camino.
