    Irvine Valley standout libero Alexandra Pestolis has committed to NCAA Division I Long Island University Brooklyn. She helped the Lasers finish with a record of 16-6 overall in 2021 and reach the CCCAA So. Cal. Regional Playoffs.
  • State beach champion Emily Guenter signs with North Florida

    Irvine Valley's Emily Guenter, both a star indoors and on the sand at Irvine Valley, has signed with NCAA Division I University of North Florida for beach. Guenter helped Irvine Valley to a State Beach Championship title in 2022.

    Irvine Valley freshman indoor and women's beach volleyball player Tasha Mae has signed with NCAA Division I Cal State Northridge. Mae was a top player for the IVC 2021 women's indoor squad during the 2021 fall campaign.

    Truth Hafey, the career leader in assists for the Irvine Valley women's volleyball team, wrapped up her college career at Georgia State last fall. She shined on and off the court, being named an honor roll student once again.

    Irvine Valley women's volleyball player Jaclyn Sanchez is headed to NCAA Division I University of Nevada. She helped the Laser indoor team team to the So. Cal. Regional Playoffs and the beach team to a CCCAA State title.

    Irvine Valley defeats Orange Empire Conference foe Fullerton in three sets for the second time this season. The Lasers improve their record to 16-5 overall and 12-4 in the OEC. IVC now awaits for playoff pairings on Thursday.

    Irvine Valley defeats Santa Ana, 25-16, 25-13, 25-10, in its final home match of the regular season. The Lasers, who also celebrated sophomore night, play at Saddleback on Friday and then at Fullerton next Wednesday.

    Irvine Valley standout women's freshman opposite Jayli Nealy earned another big honor. After being named one of the CCCVCA state players of the week, Nealy was selected as an AVCA Two-Year college player of the week.

    Irvine Valley sweeps its sixth straight Orange Empire Conference opponent, taking down Orange Coast, 25-11, 25-13, 25-15 on the road Friday. The win moves the 18th-ranked in the state Lasers into second place in the OEC standings.

    Irvine Valley starts strong and finishes an easy sweep of Santiago Canyon, 25-3, 25-11, 25-19 at home Wednesday. The Lasers, ranked No. 18 in the state, improve their record to 11-3 overall and 6-2 in the Orange Empire Conference.

    Irvine Valley plays one of its best matches of the season, defeating Fullerton, 25-14, 25-22, 25-11, Friday night at home. The Lasers hit a season-high .386 as a team, led by freshman opposite Jayli Nealy, who hit .750 with 13 kills.

    Irvine Valley, ranked No. 16 in the state, sweeps district rival and 25th-ranked Saddleback, 25-14, 29-27, 25-11, Wednesday at home. With the win the Lasers moved into a tie for second place in the Orange Empire Conference.

    Irvine Valley, ranked sixth in the state, falls in five sets to No. 17 MiraCosta on the road Wednesday night. The Spartans pulled out the win, 25-18, 20-25, 21-25, 25-17, 15-11. The Lasers drop their first match of the 2021 year.
