Irvine Valley begins its campaign with a home match against College of the Desert on Friday at 3 p.m.
The Lasers are guided by second-year head coach Tom Lancaster and sophomore captains Tyler Ferris and Merlin Serpas.
Other sophomores for IVC are goalie Andrea Gonzales, defenders Sheila Suazo, Vienna Vargas and Carlene Nhu, midfielder Natalia Guzman and forward Fernanda Flores.
Irvine Valley will play its next two games on the road. The Lasers will be at LA Harbor next Tuesday at 6 p.m. and then at Pasadena City Tuesday Sept. 5 at 4 p.m.
IVC's next home contest after Friday will be on Friday, Sept. 8 against MiraCosta at 3 p.m.
