The 2023-24 women's basketball schedule has been released

The Irvine Valley women's basketball team's schedule has been released for the 2023-24 season.

The Lasers had a stellar season last year under first-year head coach Jason Garey.

Irvine Valley reached the So. Cal. Regional Final.

The Lasers were ranked in the top 20 in the state all season and ended with a record of 21-9 overall.

They also finished third in a strong Orange Empire Conference. The top two teams - Orange Coast and Cypress - each made the state tourney.

Irvine Valley also had star point guard Trasara Alexander sign with Biola University and standout shooting guard Kennedy Pucci move on to Hope International University.

IVC will start the season with a three-game tournament at Riverside College from Nov. 9-11. The Lasers playe their first home game on Nov. 15 against Rio Hondo at 3 p.m. as part of the El Camino Crossover.

Irvine Valley begins its Orange Empire Conference schedule on Wednesday, Jan. 10 against defending California Community College Athletic Association state champion Orange Coast at 5 p.m.
