Irvine Valley's men's volleyball team wraps up the regular season with one match this week.
The Lasers, ranked No. 4 in the latest California Community College Men's Volleyball Coaches Association Poll, plays host to No. 1 and undefeated Orange Coast on Friday at 6 p.m. in an Orange Empire Conference contest.
Irvine Valley has a record of 11-6 overall and 5-3 in conference. Orange Coast comes into the match with a record of 16-0 overall and 7-0 in the OEC. The Pirates have already wrapped up the conference title.
IVC fell to Orange Coast in five sets (15-7 in the fifth) at OCC on Mar. 27.
Elsewhere around the state, the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference and Western State Conference titles are up for grabs.
No. 2 San Diego Mesa leads the PCAC by a half match over Miramar. Mesa has a record of 18-4 overall and 6-1 in conference, while Miramar is 11-6 overall and 6-2 in conference action.
And Mesa takes on Miramar Wednesday on the road with title and seeding implications on the line.
In the Western State Conference, No. 5 Long Beach City is at the top with a mark of 10-1, with one match left to play. The Vikings play host to LA Pierce on Wednesday.
No. 6 Santa Monica sits at 8-2 in conference and in second place. The Corsairs host Antelope Valley on Wednesday and then play at El Camino Friday.
Playoff pairings will be announced this weekend.
