The Irvine Valley men's tennis team continued its strong start to the 2023 season with a 6-3 Orange Empire Conference victory at Orange Coast on the road Thursday afternoon.

The Lasers stormed back in singles competition for the win.

Orange Coast took two of the three doubles contests to go up early.

Irvine Valley earned a 8-1 victory at No. 2 doubles by the team of Kiichi Ishida and Harold Santana

But the Lasers had work to do in singles to get back in the match.

And the IVC players did just that, starting with Ishida at No. 1 singles. He defeated OCC's Logan Friedman, 6-1, 6-0.
