Baseball player Noah Madole headed to Vanguard University

Irvine Valley standout baseball player Noah Madole has signed with NAIA Vanguard University in Costa Mesa.

Madole, a sophomore, played most right field and also was used as a designated hitter for the Lasers.

The former Huntington Beach High player spent three seasons with IVC. He played in a shortened, only Orange Empire Conference season in 2021.

Madole saw regular starting time in the 2022 and 2023 campaigns.

He batted .295 in 2022 with 28 hits, 22 runs, four doubles, one triple, two home runs and 11 RBI.

Madole added four stolen bases and had a .402 on base percentage and a .421 slugging percentage.

He had three-hit and two-RBI games against both Mt. San Jacinto and Riverside.

This past season, Madole batted .269 with 35 hits, 19 runs, seven doubles and one triple and eight RBI. He finished with 10 multi-hit games.

Madole is headed to a Vanguard squad that had quite a season this past spring. 

The Lions finished 33-14 overall during the regular season and 15-9 in the Golden State Athletic Conference, good for third place.

Vanguard saw its season end in the GSAC tournament with two straight losses. The team finished with a record of 33-16 overall.
