Irvine Valley baseball coach Kent Madole has announced the 2022 schedule for his squad.

The Lasers will play 40 regular season games in total with 19 at home. Most home games will be played at the OC Great Park due to construction being done on IVC's new and improved baseball facility.
Nineteen of those contests are non-conference.
IVC is scheduled to start the year on Sat., Jan. 22 at Mt. San Antonio with a scrimmage starting at 10 a.m.
The Lasers play their first official game hosting Long Beach City on Thurs., Jan. 27 at 6 p.m. at the OC Great Park Stadium. They travel to Long Beach City on Sat., Jan. 29 against Long Beach City at 12 p.m.
Irvine Valley opens the tough Orange Empire Conference part of its schedule on Tues., Mar. 8 against Orange Coast at home at 2 p.m.
IVC will play 21 OEC games against the likes of Orange Coast, Cypress, Fullerton, Golden West, Riverside, Saddleback and Santa Ana.
The team's final series of the regular season will be against Golden West with IVC hosting games on Tues., Apr. 26 at 2 p.m. and Fri., Apr. 29 at 2 p.m.
The Orange Empire Conference was one of the only conferences to play community college baseball this past spring in the state and with much success.
The Lasers went 12-14-2 overall, but finished their last 20 games with a record 12-7-1.

Madole has several players returning players and is excited about the incoming recruits.
The Irvine Valley men's volleyball team's schedule will be announced on Monday. IVC men's volleyball won the Orange Empire Conference title in the spring of 2021.
