Gordon Scott joined the Irvine Valley women's soccer team coaching staff in 2018.
He comes to IVC from Beckman High where he has been a long-time head coach.
He is in his 14th year at Beckman and his 10th year as the girl’s soccer head coach.
Under Scott’s guidance, Beckman has reached the CIF playoffs in eight of the last 10 seasons.
Scott has more than 25 years experience with the sport.
He has been coaching club soccer for over 20 years. He has been a director of coaching at several local clubs and is presently coaching club soccer in the South County area.
He holds a US Soccer National license and is an Accredited Interscholastic coach.
Scott has been involved in all levels of the game as a coach, college recruiting consultant and fitness trainer.
He has a B.S. in Kinesiology and Sports Psychology from Long Beach State and a M.A. in Coaching & Athletic Administration from Concordia University.
