Irvine Valley's men's soccer team had four players recently named to all-Orange Empire Conference teams.
Sophomore Riccardo Antonelli and freshman Kevin Yep were each picked first team all-conference.
Antonelli, a sophomore defender, did a little bit of everything for IVC this past season.
He played all over the field, lining up at defense and forward and also playing a game in goal.
Antonelli had three goals and they all came in conference play.
He had goals in Irvine Valley's 4-0 win over Cypress at home on Oct. 24 and at Norco on Oct. 28.
Antonelli played two games in goal, starting one contest. He made three saves and earned a win in Irvine Valley's 3-0 victory over Orange Coast at home on Nov. 4.
Yep was a standout in the middle of the field for the Lasers and a starter all season.
The freshman midfielder out of Irvine High, had two goals and two assists this year.
He had one goal and one assists in Irvine Valley's 3-0 victory over Orange Coast.
Yep also scored a goal in the team's win at Norco.
Freshman defender Tony Scimeca and freshman midfielder Cole Leveque were each named to the second team.
Scimeca was an anchor of the IVC defense and also scored three goals, while Leveque was a consistent starter for the Lasers at both midfield and as an outside back this year. He had one assists on the year.
Irvine Valley's men's soccer team finished with a record of 6-10-5 overall and 5-7-2 in conference.
