Irvine Valley's athlete of the week for Sept. 26 is sophomore women's volleyball player Kendall Fraser.
The middle blocker helped the No. 15 Lasers to two big wins last week, including beating No. 7 Orange Coast in four sets on Wednesday.
Fraser had three kills and six blocks in Irvine Valley's 25-27, 25-18, 26-24, 25-19 Orange Empire Conference win over Orange Coast at home on Wednesday.
She followed that up with seven kills with no errors in 13 attempts and chipped in three blocks in IVC's 25-15, 25-21, 25-18 OEC victory at Golden West on Friday.
Irvine Valley improved its record to 7-3 overall and 3-0 in conference play.
On the season, Fraser is averaging 1.40 kills per set and is hitting a team-high .412.
Fraser was also a part of IVC's 2022 spring CCCAA Beach Volleyball State Championship squad.
