Irvine Valley's women's tennis team remained unbeaten on the season with a 7-2 Orange Empire Conference victory at Fullerton on Tuesday.
The Lasers improved their record to 7-0 overall and 4-0 in conference.
IVC hosts Riverside Thursday in a showdown for first place in the OEC.
Against Fullerton, Irvine Valley won the top two doubles contests and the top five singles matches.
Sophomores Sabrina Mendy and Ashley Le cruised at No. 1 doubles, winning, 8-0.
The freshman duo of Soleil Zsibrita and Nicole Harper also won, earning a 8-2 victory. Zsibrita and Harper have yet to lose a doubles contest yet this season.
In singles, Irvine Valley had no problem on the first five courts.
Mendy won, 6-0, 6-1, on the first court, Zsibrita swept through, 6-0, 6-0, at the No. 2 spot, Le won, 6-1, 6-1, at No. 3 singles, freshman Justice Tien didn't drop a game in the fourth position and Harper came through, 6-4, 6-0, at No. 5 singles.
Irvine Valley will take on fellow undefeated Riverside on Thursday at 2 p.m. Riverside comes in with a record of 9-0 overall and 4-0 in conference.
