Irvine Valley's women's tennis team held on to its No. 3 ranking in the Oracle/ITA CCCAA Women's Regional Southern California Rankings.
The latest poll came out earlier this week.
Irvine Valley was also ranked No. 3 in the first rankings that came out on Jan. 25.
Irvine Valley has a record of 9-3 overall. The three losses have come against the two teams in front of the Lasers in the rankings - No. 1 Cerritos and No. 2 Orange Coast (twice).
Cerritos, which is undefeated and the favorite to win the state title this season, moved up from No. 6 in the first rankings to No. 1.
OCC fell from first to second.
The Lasers currently sit in second place in the Orange Empire Conference with a record of 5-2.
Irvine Valley plays again next Tuesday at Cypress at 2 p.m.
