The 2023 Irvine Valley women's soccer schedule has been released.
The full schedule for the Lasers, guided by second-year head coach Tom Lancaster, can be seen here
Irvine Valley will start the campaign with a scrimmage against Westcliff University at home at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 16.
The squad will then compete in a scrimmage against Compton on Friday, Aug. 18 at 4 p.m. at home. It is a doubleheader with the IVC men's team, which will take on Palomar in a scrimmage at 2 p.m.
And the Lasers will officially kick off the year with a home match against College of the Desert at 3 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 25.
Irvine Valley opens its 14-match Orange Empire Conference schedule at Golden West on Tues., Sept. 26.
IVC had freshman forward Perla Miranda and sophomore midfielder Leah Maris each named second team all-OEC last season.
Lancaster is excited about this year's recruits and the potential for the squad.
