Irvine Valley athletics is excited to start to announce schedules for the 2021 fall season with women's and men's soccer and women's volleyball, as well as the 2021-22 winter seasons with women's and men's basketball.
The Irvine Valley women's soccer team is slated to play 22 matches.
IVC, led by Coach Joe Supe, will begin their official season at Southwestern on Aug. 27 and then play at El Camino on Aug. 31. Both contests are slated for 3 p.m. starts.
Irvine Valley will then head to the Mt. SAC Crossover, facing off against Norco at 4 p.m. on Sept. 3 and Lake Tahoe at 12 p.m. on Sept. 5.
A non-conference match at LA Harbor will follow on Sept. 10 at 3 p.m.
The team's first home contest will be on tues. Sept. 14 vs. Compton at 1 p.m.
The Lasers will host Cerritos on Fri., Sept. 17 at 1 p.m. and Taft on Tues. Sept. 21 at 1 p.m. before beginning Orange Empire Conference play the following week.
IVC opens OEC action at Cypress on Tues., Sept. 28 at 3 p.m.
Irvine Valley missed the 2020 season due to the Covid Pandemic, but was able to train throughout this spring.
The Lasers last played in the 2019 season and went 5-14-3 overall.
