Katelin Jorgenson is in her second year as an assistant coach at Irvine Valley.

Jorgenson is a former standout Laser player. She was a two-year starter at IVC from 2004-06. Jorgenson was a starting point guard and captain for the team.

She averaged 4.5 assists and 6.5 points while at IVC. Jorgenson received her associates degree and graduated with a 3.2 GPA.

Before that, Jorgenson was a two-year varsity basketball player at San Clemente High and helped her team finish as league champions both years. She also worked as a youth coach for 5on5 Basketball Academy teaching fundamentals to young players.

Jorgenson also works with the California Basketball Officials Association (CBOA) refereeing girls club basketball, boy’s rec basketball and high school girls basketball.
