Irvine Valley sophomore women's basketball player Ryane Bradbury has signed with Simpson University.

Simpson is a private liberal arts and NAIA school in Redding.

Bradbury, a 5-11 forward, was a two-year player for the Lasers. She helped IVC reach the regional playoff finals the past two seasons and claim back-to-back Orange Empire Conference titles. The team also made its second-ever trip to the state tournament during the 2017-18 season.

Irvine Valley finished with a record of 23-6 overall and 12-2 in the Orange Empire Conference this past year.

And over the two years Bradbury played at IVC, the team went 49-11.

She had a breakout 2018-19 campaign, playing in all 29 of the team's games and starting 28 of them.

Bradbury averaged 7.1 points and 5.9 rebounds per game.

She scored in double figures in eight games and was consistent throughout. She had at least six points in 17 contests for the Lasers.

Bradbury scored a season-high 19 points and a season-best 14 rebounds in an Irvine Valley 75-48 win over Barstow last November. She also recorded 14 rebounds in an IVC defeat to Trade Tech last November.

She grabbed at least eight rebounds in eight games on the year.

Bradbury, who came to Irvine Valley from Edison High in Huntington Beach, is headed to a Simpson squad that went 18-12 last year overall and was 9-5 in the Cal Pac Conference. The Redhawks made the Cal Pac tournament.
