Irvine Valley's men's tennis team remained at No. 1 in the first Oracle/ITA California Community College Southern California Rankings released on Thursday afternoon.
The Lasers, who are the two-time defending state champions, were the top-ranked team in the preseason rankings.
IVC is off to a 10-0 start and has a firm grip on the Orange Empire Conference standings once again.
After defeating Cypress on Tuesday on the road, 6-3, Irvine Valley is 6-0 in OEC play.
Irvine Valley has gone three-plus seasons without a loss in conference play and the Lasers entered their home match on Thursday with a 56-6 record since the start of the 2014 season.
The team's only losses during that time have come to four-year schools.
The rest of the top 10 includes Cerritos at No. 2, Cypress at No. 3, Ventura at No. 4, Glendale at No. 5, Orange Coast at No. 6, Saddleback at No. 7, Riverside at No. 8, San Diego City at No. 9 and Bakersfield at 10.
Irvine Valley was set to take on No. 6 Orange Coast at home in a conference match on Thursday at 2 p.m.
