Irvine Valley's men's golf team placed fourth out of six teams at the Orange Empire Conference Championship on Monday at Royal Vista Golf club in Walnut.

The Lasers also had one individual qualify for the CCCAA South Regional next Monday at Los Serranos in Chino Hills.

Troy beat him by one stroke for a spot in the regionals. Caleb Humble fought through injury to compete 36 holes and Greg Williams also had his best performance of the year."

Freshman Dustin Vasquez finished at 147 for the Lasers. He shot 71 in the morning round and 76 in the afternoon.
