College: Played in 25 games last season for Irvine Valley and averaged 2.0 points and 1.8 rebounds per game…Scored in 16 games with a high of six points in a win over Cypress…Scored five or more points in five games…Grabbed a season-high eight rebounds in a win over Cuyamaca…Was a scholar athlete at IVC last season.

High School: Was a four-year varsity player at Canyon…Was part of Canyon’s league and CIF championship team as a freshman in 2009…Also played on league championship teams his sophomore and junior seasons…Named a captain and picked as second team all-league as a senior…Was also honored with the coach’s award after his senior season…Averaged 8.4 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists as a senior…Had 18 points, 11 rebounds and three blocked shots in a win over Redlands East Valley in the opening round of the CIF playoffs. Said his favorite game in high school came against Orange Lutheran when he played on two sprained ankles and still finished with 18 points and nine rebounds.

Personal: Would like to attend UC Santa Barbara, UC San Diego, Redlands or Chapman and study in biology with a minor in business after he is done at Irvine Valley…Says his favorite player is former great Larry Bird and his favorite subject is biology…His goal for the season is to help the team win conference and state and make this the most winning team Coach Hernandez has been a part of at IVC …The person he most admires is his father because he is his biggest supporter…Son of Sandra and Dennis Priest.
