Sophmore Ryan Gaynor is the second Irvine Valley player this year to sign with NAIA Georgetown College in Kentucky. Gaynor was the Lasers' starting catcher the last two seasons. He hit two home runs for IVC in 2018.
Irvine Valley sophomore outfielder and designated hitter Zack Stack is headed to NAIA Georgetown College in Kentucky. Stack batted .315 with 20 runs, three doubles, two home runs and 31 RBI for the Lasers in 2018.
Sophomore baseball player Grant Rockefeller has signed with NCAA Division II Cal State Dominguez Hills. Rockefeller, a two-year player for the Lasers, batted .270 with 18 RBI and had 11 multi-hit games for IVC in 2018.
Colin Conroy, who started at second base or shortstop for the Lasers in 2018, has signed with NCAA Division I Towson State. Conroy, who was named second team all-Orange Empire Conference, batted .314 for Irvine Valley.
Irvine Valley freshman right-handed reliever Noah Bradford has been named to the American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings All-Region Southern California Second Team. He led the Lasers in wins and saves this year.

Irvine Valley's baseball squad is the Scholar Team of the Year for 2017-18. The team accumulated a 3.41 grade point average and had 23 players who were scholar athletes, including seven with a 3.75 GPA or higher.
