Irvine Valley's women's beach volleyball team wrapped up an Orange Empire Conference division title with three wins at home on Friday afternoon.
The Lasers moved to 6-0 in conference play after beating both Saddleback and Riverside by the scores of 5-0 and defeating Fullerton, 4-1.
Irvine Valley got three straight-set wins each from the pairs of sophomore Taira Ka'awaloa and freshman Megan Ramseyer, sophomore Olivia Aguilar and freshman Renata Bath, sophomore Hannah Salaya and freshman Emilie Austin and sophomore Diamond Brogan and freshman Alyssa Vortouni.
Brogan and Vortouni capped the day with a comeback, three-set win over Riverside's team of Roni Lopez and Patricia Brucks at the fifth spot in the lineup.
The duo of freshmen Gabi Lau and Alma Entesari won two of three matches on the day for the Lasers.
Irvine Valley is back in action again next Wednesday when it hosts the opening round of the Orange Empire Conference Championships starting at noon.
