Irvine Valley's women's beach volleyball team won three matches and took each one in dominating fashion on Friday in an Orange Empire Conference four-way event at Riverside.
Irvine Valley defeated Saddleback, Fullerton and Riverside each by scores of 5-0.
Only three of the 15 matches IVC pairs team played went to three sets.
The Lasers, who have played much of their season against four-year programs, improved their record to 6-8 overall.
Irvine Valley's top team of sophomore Taira Ka'awaloa and freshman Megan Ramseyer swept all three of their contests in straight sets as did the Laser No. 2 pair of sophomore Olivia Aguilar and freshman Renata Bath.
Irvine Valley's third team of sophomore Hannah Salaya and freshman Emilie Austin, the No. 4 team of freshmen Gabi Lau and Alma Entesari and fifth duo of sophomore Diamond Brogan and freshman Alyssa Vortouni also went undefeated on the day. Brogan and Vortouni came back from a set down to beat a pair from Riverside.
