Irvine Valley's women's beach volleyball team won both its matches on Friday afternoon, beating both Saddleback and Santa Ana in Orange Empire Conference contests at home.
The Lasers started with a tough 3-2 victory over Saddleback.
The match came down to court 1 where the IVC pair of sophomore Lucee Fitzgerald and freshman Taira Ka'awaloa defeated Saddleback's Avie Butsko and Kelly Dowell, 21-14, 21-12.
Irvine Valley also got wins in the match from its No. 2 pair of freshman Ally Sassman and Alissa Blevins (21-14, 21-8) and its third pair of sophomore Brittany Tuliau and freshman Jacqueline Millerd (21-17, 21-19).
The Lasers then defeated Santa Ana, 4-1, to wrap up the perfect day.
Irvine Valley showed its depth, winning on the second through fifth courts.
Sassman and Blevins picked up a 21-11, 21-14 victory, Tuliau and Millerd won, 21-11, 21-18, freshmen Hannah Holder and Hannah Salaya came through, 21-12, 21-17, on court No. 4 and sophomore Hailey Riden and freshman Kylie Miller won, 21-11, 21-18, on the fifth court.
Irvine Valley improved its record to 5-8 overall and 4-1 in conference.
The Lasers finish the regular season next Friday, taking on Golden West and Cypress in Long Beach.
