Irvine Valley's women's beach volleyball team stayed unbeaten in Orange Empire Conference action with two more wins on Friday afternoon at home.
The Lasers battled through light rain most of the day and defeated Orange Coast, 5-0, and Fullerton, 4-1.
The win improved IVC's record to 7-6 overall and 5-0 in conference.
Irvine Valley is 6-0 against fellow community college programs this season.
The Lasers got wins a pair of impressive wins from its No. 1 pair of sophomores Emily Reinking and Hailee Earnest. The duo defeated Orange Coast's Tiffany Boykin and Adelle Buede, 21-7, 21-15, and the Fullerton pair of Azucena Duarte and Charity Dennis, 21-13, 21-9.
The IVC No. 2 team of sophomore Hannah Matt and Carlee Roethlisberger, the No. 4 team of freshman Alissa Blevins and sophomore Juju Cannon and the No. 5 pair of sophomore Taylor Askins and Brittany Tuliau also won two matches apiece.
Irvine Valley's No. 3 team of freshman Olivia Aguilar and sophomore Kayla Scheevel beat the team from OCC, but fell in three sets to Fullerton's pair of Alex Winfield and Mariah Gonzalez, 21-11, 17-21, 15-13.
Fullerton also defeated Orange Coast, 4-1, on the day.
Irvine Valley doesn't play again until Friday, April 22 when it takes on conference opponents Riverside and Golden West at Golden West.
