In leading up to the start of the each collegiate school year, the Irvine Valley athletics department counts down the top 10 Irvine Valley sports stories from the previous school year.
This countdown first appeared during the summer of 2014 and highlighted the many accomplishments both on and off the court of IVC teams, student athletes and coaches.
The countdown will begin in late August and finish in early September.
This year's official 2023-24 Irvine Valley athletics schedule starts on Friday, Aug. 25 with the women's soccer team playing at home against College of the Desert at 3 p.m. and the women's volleyball team traveling to College of the Canyons at 5 p.m.
With a lot of success by Irvine Valley teams year in and year out, the selections for the annual IVC top 10 stories also end up being difficult ones.
